NOTHRON - GLOBAL PRIVACY POLICY

Important Notice
This Privacy Policy is valid between Nothron ('Service', 'We', 'Us') and you ('User', 'You') and is an integral part of the Terms of Service.
By using our Service, you declare that you have read, understood, and accepted this Privacy Policy. If you do not accept, please do not use the Service.
This Policy is prepared in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and related legislation of the Republic of Turkey. Except where required by law, this Policy is applied in full.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Nothron provides AI-based photo enhancement, upscaling, restoration and neural transformation services. Protecting your personal data during our Service is one of our top priorities.
In this policy, we clearly state what data we collect, how we process, share, store it, and what your rights are.
2. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
Account and Identity Data
Information we receive via Google Sign-In: First name, last name, email address, Google profile picture (optional), and Google user ID.
Visual and Content Data
Photos and visuals you upload (Inputs).
Important Note: Uploaded visuals are never stored permanently on our servers at any stage. They are only processed temporarily during the enhancement process. After the process is completed and successfully downloaded by the user, or when the page is closed, they are permanently deleted. Except for system backups or temporary processing buffers, no visual is stored long-term.
Usage and Technical Data
IP address, browser type, device information, access time and transaction logs.
Credit usage and service interactions.
Payment Data
Payments are received via Lemon Squeezy. Credit card and payment information is processed directly by Lemon Squeezy; we do not store this data.
Sensitive Data
Uploaded photos may contain faces, bodies or biometric features. This data is only used for temporary processing purposes and is subject to the deletion rule mentioned above.
3. DATA PROCESSING PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS
We process your data for the following purposes:
• Providing the service and performing enhancement operations
• Account creation and authentication (Google Sign-In)
• Payment processing and credit management
• Service improvement, debugging and technical optimization (with anonymized data)
• Fulfilling legal obligations
• Preventing fraud and abuse
Legal Bases (KVKK Article 5):
• Explicit consent (especially for visual data)
• Establishment and performance of contract
• Legal obligation
• Legitimate interest
You are deemed to have given explicit consent for uploaded visuals. You can withdraw your consent at any time at hello@nothron.com; however, this may affect or terminate your use of the Service.
4. DATA SHARING
We only share your data with third parties in the following cases:
• With third-party AI API providers (for performing enhancement operations – visuals are only shared temporarily)
• With Lemon Squeezy (for payment processing)
• With Google (for authentication)
• In cases of legal obligation (court decision, KVKK requests, etc.)
In no case do we share or sell your visuals for marketing, advertising or third-party sales purposes.
5. DATA RETENTION PERIOD
Photos and visuals uploaded by users (Inputs) are processed only temporarily during enhancement, upscaling, restoration, or neural transformation operations.
Immediately after the operation is completed and the results are downloaded by the user (or the operation page is closed), the visuals are permanently deleted and are not retained on our servers in any way. Except for system backups or temporary processing buffers, uploaded visuals are not stored for long-term or permanent storage.
The retention periods for other personal data are as follows:
Account and Identity Data (name, surname, email, Google user ID, etc.): Stored as long as the user account is active or as required by legal retention obligations. When the user requests account deletion, data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period in accordance with KVKK.
Usage and Technical Data (IP address, browser information, transaction logs, etc.): Stored for a maximum of 2 (two) years for the purpose of service security, fraud prevention, and fulfillment of legal obligations. At the end of this period, data is automatically deleted or anonymized.
Payment-related data: Stored by Lemon Squeezy according to their own privacy policies. Nothron does not store this data.
In cases where legal regulations (tax, accounting, KVKK, etc.) require it, certain data may be stored for the minimum periods specified in relevant laws. In such cases, data is limited only to the required purpose and duration.

6. DATA SECURITY
We take appropriate technical and administrative measures to protect your data:
• Encryption during temporary processing
• Access controls and detailed logging
• Regular security audits
• Staff privacy training
However, no security system is 100% perfect. In case of a possible data breach, we will inform you and the Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK) as required by KVKK.
7. YOUR USER RIGHTS (KVKK Article 11)
Under KVKK, you have the following rights:
• To learn whether your personal data is processed
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with the purpose
• To learn the third parties to whom your data is transferred domestically or abroad
• To request correction of incorrect or incomplete data
• To request deletion or destruction of data
• To request notification of correction/deletion requests to third parties to whom data is transferred
• To object to the emergence of a result against you through analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems
• To request compensation for your damages

8. CHILDREN
Our Service is not designed for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18. If such data is detected, it is immediately deleted.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will make announcements on the site for important changes. Continued use means acceptance of the updated policy.
11. APPLICABLE LAW AND CONTACT
This Privacy Policy is subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey. In case of disputes, Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices have exclusive jurisdiction.
